CONGRATULATIONS TO CLARA THAKER

A huge congratulations to our very own Clara Thaker, on being named as part of the England Women U19s squad for their biggest ever winter programme of cricket, culminating in the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Nepal and Bangladesh.

Following a series of training camps in the UK, the squad will travel to take part in a five-match T20 series against India in November/December 2026, and at its completion they will remain in India for a further week to continue their outdoor preparations for the ICC tournament in January/February 2027.

Clara has advanced from our Colts programme to playing in our men's teams. Clara was part of the Northamptonshire CCC's Steelbacks Women’s Squad and Essex Women’s Academy before progressing to the Essex Eagles Women's team. Between all the cricket she also finds time to complete her “A” Levels.
